Letter from the Pastor
Let us welcome the following children who were
baptized recently at St. Therese Church:
Dear Parishioners,
Did you ever wonder how Jesus must have felt
when he realized that those he loved most in this
world, his family and community, could not or would
not hear his message. Perhaps they were so
familiar with him that they could not see him for who
he was.
The Lord comes to us in many ways every day of
our lives. Do we recognize him for who he is? Do
we recognize him in the family member who
challenges us and drives us crazy? Do we
recognize him in the sadness of a child? Do we
recognize him in the person who clears our table?
Do we know him when he approaches us in the
person who sits next to us at work or in church? Do
we see him when we look into the eyes of our
parents or our children?
God is all around us. God speaks to us in the
everyday simple things and moments of our lives.
Stop. Listen. Pray. Love. In the most unexpected
ways and through the most unexpected people God
reveals Himself to us. God is never not there.
It really annoys God if you walk through a field of
purple flowers and don’t realize that they are there.
With Love,
Fr. Sam
Thomas Matthew Banta
Andrew Joseph Collado
Kiera Michelle Dollard
Kylie Kristin Hroncic
Abigail Kimberly Hsu
Emilynn Santina Rogalli
Logan Michael Russo
May God continue to bless them and guide them!
