You will prepare meals for 9 young people in line with their dietary needs, ensuring that all areas of the

A Youth Worker is required to work with young people wherever they associate to create opportunities for
their social educational development. You will work, via centre based activities, to make contact with, offer
counselling skills to and act as an advocate on behalf of young people.
You will work with a small staff team to plan, co-ordinate and deliver projects, encouraging participation and
empowerment by working face-to-face with young people.
You should hold or be willing to train towards a recognised youth support worker qualification, and have an
ability to work with young people.

Your role will be to provide Financial Administration & Support Services to the Specialist Creditors Team.
This will involve undertaking all aspects of financial work in respect of Children’s carers and external
placement providers and the Construction Industry Scheme.
You will carry out the following duties:
•Timely and efficient processing of all maintenance and fee payments in respect of children placed in foster
care and related placements.
•Undertake the payment of out of borough placements, adoption allowances and inter agency fees.
•Assist in the recovery of overpayments made in respect of Children’s carers and external placement
providers.
•Undertake timely and accurate payments in respect of the Construction Industry Scheme including
maintenance of appropriate systems and records including the completion of returns in accordance with
legislative guidance.
•Support senior colleagues in achieving the objectives of the team and to provide a customer focused
service.
To be successful you will have the knowledge and experience that demonstrates literacy, numeracy and
excellent communication skills, together with relevant experience gained from working in a financial
environment using Microsoft packages, Oracle Financials or similar accounts payables systems.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Economic Regeneration Team.
You will be responsible for analysing economic information and data in order to respond to the employment
and skills agenda in the borough. With highly developed communication and partnership working skills, you
will help respond to the key issues faced by our strategic partners, with a key focus on areas such as skills
and worklessness. You will develop and manage projects that create bespoke support and training
interventions that lead individuals into employment opportunities. A background in economic development
or regeneration project management is essential with a sound understanding of the key principles affecting

We are looking to recruit a Support Worker to provide housing related support either in the community and
or via a drop in service to people with a disability in accordance with Supporting People regulations.

Walsall Outdoor Pursuits require Casual Outdoor Pursuit Instructors to deliver Canoeing, Kayaking, Sailing,
Wind Surfing, Climbing and High Rope Course Instruction at our two adventure centres.
Walsall Outdoor Pursuits is an A.A.L.A. registered centre and is recognised by the RYA and RYA Sailability.
A range of governing body adventure instructors are required to join our pool of casual staff. Due to the
nature of the job sessions will be offered to you on an "as and when required" basis, dependent upon
demand.
Duties include:
• Instruction of climbing and other multi-disciplined adventure activities.
• Undertaking sessional activities as required.
• Providing instruction of governing body syllabus and the development of excellence to improve recreation /

A teacher to work in Year 3 in the first instance, who can also further develop science throughout school and
co-ordinate and lead us in developing children’s life skills in line with the Every Child Matters agenda
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and ambitious teacher to further develop our science
and ECM curriculum. The post would suit a person who saw this as one that would give them the opportunity
to enhance their skills in leadership and management. .Blackwood is a thriving, very successful school one

Personnel Officer
£20, 895 - £24, 708 per annum, 37 hours per week.
Temporary 12 month contract
We are looking for a temporary Personnel Officer to cover maternity leave for 12 months, providing an advisory service to our
Branch managers on employment relations and recruitment issues. We require a CIPD qualified individual with proven
experience in dealing with Disciplinary, performance and grievance situations in accordance with current legislation. Knowledge
of the requirements of the Investors in People standard and knowledge of Equal Opportunities would be an advantage. This
position will be based in our Walsall office but will involve travel between our five sites in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Darlaston
and Bloxwich.
