The RockerBox contain 193 double SHA low-power, high-performance engines, which can be chained to any number of other RockerBox ASICs via a proprietary serial interface tailored for this purpose. 1.1 Key Features Double SHA-256 cores Serial Interface 193 fully-unrolled engines, each performs a single hash per cycle Supports any number of devices on a board Seamlessly adding or reducing devices Engine integrity test support—BIST Up to 0.2THash/s in typical process corner Addressing scheme to support ASIC broadcasting transactions Low pin count – clock, data in, data out Low power consumption 0.3W/GHps Can run up to 50 MHz continuous data rate Power Efficient Thermal Sensors and thermal shutdown The RockerBox chip can work in core voltages 550—800mV Two thermal sensors configures to eight levels. Ranges 90 to 125 °C equally spaced. Each engine can be shutdown for power save purposes Thermal sensors can invoke engine shutdown upon over-heating, to prevent ASIC meltdown Configurable PLL Supports core frequencies from 500—1500 MHz.
