A Prayer you may like to use as you prepare for worship
Father we thank you for healing those we know who have had life threatening illnesses. Breathe new strength
and life into them as they face a more certain future. We remember those whose progress is slow and often
painful and ask that you give them patience, determination and your peace as they receive treatment. For their
loved ones who care for them and watch over them we pray you will give them the strength they need at this
time. Amen.
Please remember in your prayers

Many cities in the world are taking part in a prayer campaign called 40 Days For Life.
In Manchester there are prayer groups, compassionate outreach and a ‘6 days a week’ vigil. Our concern is to save the
lives of unwanted babies through witness, prayer and practical help.
In Altrincham Methodist Prayer Chapel we are there each Monday between 12.00noon and 2.00pm interceding for babies,
parents and all involved at every level. Please come along and strengthen our prayers.
You can join the Manchester Vigil by contacting 40Days@mcr4life.co.uk or 07909 920739/07810 791032
