Who is the project aimed at? Narec DE are targeting SMEs and sole traders with premises in the Tees Valley, who work in either the manufacturing, construction or engineering sector. Delegates must also be 19 or over. How is the training delivered? Installation and Maintenance of Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems 4 day course Theory based. Written assessment. A qualification which builds upon current knowledge of unvented hot water systems in order to extend skills to include the installation of solar thermal systems. Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems 4 day course A qualification which builds upon current electrical knowledge in order to extend skills to include the installation of solar photovoltaics. Logic accredited (Level 3, 10 credits) Blyth Logic accredited (Level 3, 10 credits) Blyth Maintenance of PV systems, including fault finding, electrical inspection, components, troubleshooting and system monitoring. Narec DE certified Blyth Solar Thermal and Hot Water Maintenance 1 day course Maintenance of solar thermal hot water systems, including; cleaning, testing, fault diagnosis and repair. This intensive course is aimed at providing system specifiers, planners, architects and other building professionals a detailed and current knowledge of photovoltaic system installations on domestic and small scale commercial properties.
