Context: Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) in Quito in administrative matters and the Resettlement Support Center (RSC) Manager in Washington D.C. for programming matters and the direct supervision of the RSC Regional Deputy Manager in Quito, the successful candidate will support the data and reports management for all RSC related projects and activities. Page 1 / 4 Core Functions / Responsibilities: 1. Perform daily, weekly, monthly and as assigned quality control of RSC Latin America and Caribbean data entry into the Worldwide Refugee Admissions Processing System (WRAPS). 2. Create and maintain statistical reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for regular distribution to RSC Managers, team leaders and external partners. Use automated subscriptions to circulate reports via e-mail. 3. Create and maintain a web-based quality assurance application for real-time verification of data entry by caseworkers. 4. Follow the RSC reports calendar and produce reports on a timely basis and as required. Review and format all reports produced by RSC Nepal for distribution to supervisors and other programme partners. 5. Supervise the RSC Reports Assistants. Update staff under supervision of changes in workflow and/or procedures and provide additional training on report production to staff as required. Maintain leave schedule of staff under supervision and duly sign their leave requests. 6. Liaise with the Refugee Processing Center (RPC) regarding WRAPS work orders and new releases. Ensure efficient processing of urgent and sensitive cases. 7. Troubleshoot WRAPS access problems during RSC deployments. 8. Supervise all aspects related to the RSC File library, physical file creation, uploading of applicant’s photos and RRFs, and splitting of cases according to USRAP guidelines. 9. Maintain and keep updated the RSC file tracking software to monitor the location and flow of refugee case files and travel packets. 10. Represent RSC Latin America and the Caribbean at meetings and prepare briefings, training, background information and unit updates as needed. 11. Assist with interviewing and selecting new staff under direct supervision. 12. Alert the RSC Regional Deputy Manager of any non-compliance of staff under direct supervision as well as areas of concern and suggest possible improvements in order to properly support the overall development of the RSC. Maintain and ensure confidentiality of all RSC matters following the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM) confidentiality guidelines as well as IOM guidelines and code of conduct. 13. Report regularly to the RSC Regional Deputy Manager and RSC Manager on all related reporting activities, problems and solutions. 14. Perform such other duties as may be assigned. Required Qualifications and Experience Education Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience. Experience Experience in the USRAP particularly in RSC activities and resettlement operations; Experience in managing IT or technical projects; Experience in refugee migrations related issues; Experience in supervising and directing staff; Experience producing high-quality reports and excellent computer skills and proficient in spreadsheets; Experience in database programming and applications such as Access and SQL, and graphical and presentation software Strong knowledge of WRAPS; Experience in website development and management. Languages Fluency in English is required. Working knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
