T HA N K YOU !
The Chamber has had a very busy & successful fall thanks
to all of our board members, ambassadors, volunteers and
the community.
We’ve hosted the first successful Golf Ball drop, alongside
Riverside Country Club, with a tremendous turn-out! Then
we hosted the largest event in Trenton each year, the
Missouri Day Festival, in conjunction with the Missouri
Marching Band Festival, hosted by Buddy & Karla
Hannaford. These combined events brought so many people
into our community to make it a huge success again this
year. The Rotary Club did an excellent job with the parade
as well this year.
Farmers Bank
The annual Trick-or-Treat night at the Rock Barn brought in
an estimated 550 kids to collect treats at 31 tables. We
couldn’t accomplish this without your help and support.
Thank you ALL for your unending support and help through
our fall events thus far!

We set out with the mission to “cultivate leaders,” and we began
spreading the word that the City of Trenton was looking for motivated
youth to fill the spots. Chase Marsh, Ellis Gilham, Sadie Roy, Karley
McCollum, Meghan Adams, Martha Cool, Mercedez Elliot, Hannah
Farmer, Chelsey Miller and Ally Ockenfels were just the youth we were
looking for when they signed up to participate in this year’s program.
The program is designed to assist in the development of community
leadership skills for teens looking to gain knowledge and experience in
leadership rolls. Our goal is to prepare the youth for their future by
cultivating leadership skills in areas such as public speaking,
interviewing, financial preparedness, and community involvement.
The 10-week schedule includes sessions that enrich the youth’s
knowledge of City Government, Community Resources, Business
Tours, History, Building Self Confidence, Overcoming Challenges and
Team Building exercises. Perhaps one of the most beneficial and
impacting things we do with the students is to help them take a step
into their future. They identify a career path, then we then ask them to
research their career field and prepare a resume. They are then paired
with a professional in the field of their choice and will be given a mock
job interview. These interviews provide them with a real life experience
that will give them a step up in their career. Farmer who donated land for new base
