Exercise is the most powerful
tool to optimize your brain
function! “Consistent exercise
and certain types of specific
exercises, can both temporarily and permanently affect
the way your brain is able to
focus, its ability to deal with
stress and anxiety, and its
ability to learn!”

“Reading is to
the mind what
exercise is to
the body.”
-Joseph Addison
Did you know students attending Lights
-On have the opportunity to work on
homework or class assignments each
evening from 3:30-4:00? If more time
is needed, students may then go to the
library to study or complete what did
not get finished. The Lights-On staff
tries to work closely with classroom
teachers to help students succeed and
with parents to try and lighten the
homework time at home. If you have
questions or comments about the
homework or tutoring that is available,
please contact Dixie Dickerson.
