He will introduce and illustrate his decision making model which focuses on identifying and achieving the best possible result. Though the model is useful in all contexts it has been incorporated into multiple training materials such as California’s Police Officer Standards and Training (POST) and the Department of Justice COPS division. In addition, the statewide program that DFW-OSPR has embarked upon as well as the Regional HazMat Team program that Cal OES has undertaken will be presented.
