Confucius 27 Crafts Your Choice Collingwood Adult Day Services Highlights for May 2015 May 04 Crosswords are back by popular demand so why not join us for some wordplay– Walk to Collingwood Terminals this afternoon weather permitting. Feel free to bring a snack and/or a drink for our afternoon expedition. May 06 Community Walk will start our day after the morning social– What’s for Dinner? is back on the schedule. What is for dinner you may still be asking? We will find out this afternoon. We’ll be at Loblaws (12 Hurontario St.) from 1pm – to 2pm learning to cook great food and sampling the dish of the day. May 11 Terry’s Toning Time/Program Planning – Diners Club sausage in a bun with sweet potato fries and sides will be our culinary creation today. May 13 Brain Power/Program Planning we will work on some fun brain stimulating activities and then plan for July and August calendars – Mexican Train will be boarding at 1pm. May 18 BIS is CLOSED – see you soon. May 20 Community Walk this morning weather permitting – Pita Pit is our food choice of the day. Located at 147 Hurontario St, Collingwood, ON L9Y 2L9 - to view the Pita Pit menu go to http://pitapit.ca/consumer/menu. Weather permitting we will likely walk to the Pita Pit. You will require money to purchase your food and beverage choices. May 25 Mini Golf at the Georgian Bowl, 832 Hurontario St, Collingwood. At the time of writing, the cost for Mini golf is $2 + tax for one game. Transport is provided to and from the BIS Collingwood program site – Games afternoon.
