ALamp Concrete Contractors, Inc. of Schaumburg, Illinois
PROJECT SCOPE:
This project consists of installation of an 8-foot-wide
concrete shared-use pedestrian and bicycle trail that is a
continuation of the existing trail system. These
improvements are funded partially via an Illinois
Transportation Enhancement Program (ITEP) grant that is
federally funded. This trail section, known as Segment 4,
has been recommended as part of the Techny Trail Study’s
long-term plan, with a recognized destination of
Glenview’s Metra stations as well as connection to trails in
neighboring villages. Completion of this segment facilitates
trail connectivity from the Glenview Library to the Village
of Northbrook.
TARGET DATES:
Start of Construction: April 20, 2015
End of Construction: June 12, 2015
PROJECT WORK HOURS: M-F: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sat: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (7:00 a.m. start with Village
approval only)
