MINUTES OF AN EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF PENNARD COMMUNITY COUNCIL
HELD ON 22 APRIL 2015 AT PENNARD COMMUNITY HALL at 8.00 pm

2015/065 Councillors
Action
a. Letter of resignation from Cllr Sarah Joiner. This was noted and also the fact that SJ
would still be happy to help with the Pavilion working group if required. It was
proposed, seconded and unanimously approved that SJ be co-opted onto the Pavilion
working group.

b. Letter of resignation from Cllr Adele Gerke – not yet received but Adele had informed
the Clerk it was to be delivered forthwith. This was noted.
The Clerk was instructed to write to both, thanking them for their work with the council.

2015/066 Consultation Response to White Paper on Reforming Local Government –
Power to local people
The working party reported their proposed response to the community councils section of the
consultation. It was proposed, seconded and unanimously agreed to ratify the working party’s
response and send it together with a letter of clarification – composed at the meeting. It was Clerk
agreed to send copies to SLCC and One Voice Wales for their information.
