Legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen and his
E Street Band will be playing at the Magnetic
Hill Music Festival on Sunday, August 26, as
part of their world-wide ‘Wrecking Ball’ tour!
Widely regarded as one of the most influential songwriters of
the 20th century, Springsteen’s career has spanned over four
decades and resulted in numerous awards and accolades
including 20 Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes, and an
Academy Award. With over 120 million albums sold
worldwide, Springsteen has had dozens of hit singles
including ‘Hungry Heart’, ‘Jersey Girl’, and ‘Streets of
Philadelphia.’

The next time you travel across the Confederation Bridge,
look up, waaayyy up, and check out our 15th birthday
present – a pair of new, state-of-the-art overhead message
boards! Installed during the month of July 2012, the new
LED-pixel displays, located at each entrance to the bridge,
have the ability to display multi-colour pictograms and
proper French grammar and symbols, ensuring that our
Bridge Controllers are able to communicate efficiently and
effectively to drivers with respect to changing bridge and
weather conditions
