Mystic Metal Designs
Karen has been a Washingtonian since 1970. She creates Celtic
style woven and braided wire jewelry in copper, brass & silver.
She adds beads, stone, crystal, shell and vintage components to
accent the design. The sole designer and creator of each and
every unique piece, she never knows what a piece is going to turn
out to be when she begins. The end result is that the buyer is truly
getting an original work of wearable art that is uniquely inspired – as unique as the person
wearing it! www.mysticmetaldesigns.com facebook.com/mysticmetaldesigns

Parallel Jewelry
Jeni Falldine creates jewelry silver,
gemstones, and freshwater pearls. Each pieces has a delicate and
natural character. This connection with nature is no accident. In the
words of the artist: “I like the beauty of nature. Curves of plants,
crystalline formations in rocks, and colors amplified by sunlight in
water. Trees that captivate me with stories of balance and form.
Enchanting flowers, vividly alive and grown from ancient recipes. I
watch and then make things. My hands move, doing what they know while flowers blossom and
birds weave nests.” http://paralleljewelry.com/rpoducts-page facebook.com/paralleljewelry

Peggy Cook – Whimsical Art
Peggy Cook was born
and raised near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. As a child, she always had
a passion for painting and crafts. Although having an artist is
beneficial, Peggy considers herself to be a self-taught artist. She has
developed her own whimsy style described as primitive but
contemporary. From the artist: “I am an acrylic painter. I love working
with acrylics, the brighter the color the better. I think as an artist you look at the world around
you a little different than others. Patterns and color are what motivate me. I love creating bright
colorful, feel good paintings sometimes with a touch of humor.”

Normiehead
Many of you may already be familiar with Chris Shreve as he is
synonymous with the familiar face of Normiehead. “AS A CHILD I
loved to draw. I would come often to my mother with the same
question: “What can I draw?” Her response was always the same,
“Draw a bed and climb in it.” When I think of these words now I am
struck with the profundity and power they can hold if cared for properly.
I believe that we literally have the ability to pull from the invisible and shape the visible.
Imagination and creativity have power to “bring into being”. To incarnate. Painting as allowed
me to conceive of a thing and watch it grow flesh. The sketchbook and the easel have become
for me an altar for prayer and meditation, for confession and struggle and a place for ugliness to
be confronted by grace and beauty. It was become a place to make my bed and lay in it.”

Tomas Vrba Studio
When he moved to the Seattle area,
Tomas discovered the unique art of chainsaw carving, and the
beautiful woods native to the Pacific Northwest. Growing up in
Slovakia before the fall of the Berlin Wall, Tomas Vrba never imagined
he’d get the chance to be a working artist, let alone an artist making a
name for himself in America. In the early 1990′s, Tomas’ raw talent
earned him a spot in an art school apprenticeship program, where he
spent the next four years being classically trained in woodcarving. He went on to receive a
Master’s Degree in Sculpture Restoration from VSVU Bratislava, one of Europe’s premier fine
arts institutions. After finishing his studies, Tomas spent a number of years as a fine art restorer
and conservator in Vienna, getting the chance to preserve some of the finest works of art in the
world. But despite his success as a restorer, his true passion was creating his own sculptures.

For Your Glass Only
Michelle’s love of wine began when her husband’s mom, Virginia,
asked her if I wanted a glass. That was 22 years ago. Thus, began
her love affair! She soon found out though, that she didn’t like sharing
her wine with anyone…and so her quest began, to find a glass marker
that would meet her needs. It wasn’t until her daughter requested a
marker that would work with her new “stemless wine glasses” that
Michelle began to work on my current creation. It took her about a year to perfect her design,
which is now patent-pending. Wine glass markers that sit on the rim of a glass. The backs are
handcrafted and patented. The fronts charms, brooches, sliders and parts of jewelry.

ImArtworks
A selection of artwork made by Ila Medlin in various forms including
necklaces, earrings, paintings, marker drawings, and some prints. “I
make oil paintings, drawings and vinyl toys that are depicted clearly
and are usually on a larger scale. I create my imagery referentially,
using photographs, real life observational sketches, past studies, as
well as pop culture imagery to create colorful works that create a sense
of dread despite their joyful palette. I am drawn to bright colors and am fascinated by renderings
of dripping viscous fluids and these points are reflected in much of my work. My work references
reality, but is often not of it. I have always been drawn to images that touch a very particular
discomfort, while at the same time are controlled, staged and safe, sometimes blatantly so.”

Rock Paper Scissors
Cheryl loves working in the medium of collage. This gives her
permission to collect, to tear, to touch, to play. It is her ticket to
explore and imagine, to examine and challenge what is apparent, and
to re-create. She has always been fascinated with old maps, books,
sheet music, scraps of paper and fabric, wrappers and ribbons and
see possibilities - color, value, texture in everything. Challenged to
take those things that have been cast aside and re-purpose them to new life is what excites and
inspires her. In the “Common Bird” series, the crow or raven when seen is simply a black bird,
but upon closer examination displays feathers with a rich iridescence. Look deeper still and you
learn about the incredible intelligence, curiosity and many human like traits this bird mimics.
Listen to the observers of the pieces and you hear stories of the crow that come from around
the world, and to many are a tale of wonder, and joy. www.cherylbrownstudio.com

Doug LeClair Photography
Doug’s fascination with the natural world began long ago while
attending an elementary school in Bremerton called, "Olympic View."
Olympic View Elementary was positioned in a manner that allowed
for frequent viewing of the Olympic Mountains and every day from
getting on/off the school bus, walking to the classroom, passing
recess time on the playground; he was afforded the opportunity to
study the dramatic profile and status of the Olympics. Fifty some years later, the mountains
continue to draw his attention and it was in experiencing digital photography that he was able to
capture his various journeys to the Southwest; including Death Valley, Valley of Fire State Park
(Nevada), Zion, Bryce, and Capitol Reef National Parks and other venues.

Hinshaws Art Quest
Ron is a self-taught artist with an extensive background in ornamental
metalwork. A love for the outdoors and wildlife is expressed in his
chosen medium, of steel plate and heat. Ron creates a drawing that he
transfers to a steel plate and that is where the magic begins. Then
each piece is cut by hand using an acetylene torch. Then each piece is
carefully detailed and polished with a small hand held grinder. Upon
completion of the grinding, using only the heat of the torch, each piece is colored achieving a
range of colors from subtle golds to rich browns and on through vibrant purples and blues.
Ron's work is very unique and can be found in many galleries throughout the Western United
States. His work is known nationally and internationally and can be found in private collections

Rustic Wanderings
Rustic Wanderings really began because our kids grew up. No longer
were we running kids to various sports and activities, rather, we were
watching too much television. One day I showed Mike what Pinterest
was all about. The next thing I knew, he was out in the garage and I
could hear the tools at work. Soon he came in with an amazing
silhouette of a buck that he had made using an old pallet that we have
in our garage. We put it on a local Facebook sales group and it immediately sold. Mike and I
were in business. We still work full time at our “real jobs” but now we have added various, local
festivals into our life during the season. We continue to learn, we continue to create and we
definitely continue to have fun together. facebook.com/rusticWanderings

Beautiful Brims
Rebecca found that her specialty and passion are fabulous felted
hats. Each one is a unique piece of fashion and the color that the hat
will be is known to Rebecca when she begins. For this artist, felting is
exciting because each fiber reacts differently when washed. Each hat
is 100% natural fibers from alpaca, sheep, llama, goats, and rabbits.
They repel water and can be worn in inclement weather. They are highly versatile; a skiing
accessory, a morning dog walk, a mid-winter stroll on the beach, or a quick ride in the
