A Catholic education is an advantage for life. THERE IS A WAY OUT OF HELL! A non-denominational journey of ritual based healing of the wounds of PTSD based on ancient wisdom and traditions. November 8-12, 2015 St. Francis Retreat Center San Juan Bautista, CA The Healing Retreat is for those suffering from the wounds of military PTSD and is led by a team of four: Fr. Mike Cicinato, Pete Pepper, Lou Stoetzer and Peter Sternberg. The retreat is based on the Soldier’s Heart Retreats led by Dr Edward Tick and Kate Dahlstedt, renowned experts on dealing with PTSD and its effects on veterans, active duty military and their families Mass Intentions Initials in italics indicate scheduled Presider SATURDAY AUGUST 1 All around us, we see mixed messages and mass confusion about what it means to have been created male and female. We need to inform ourselves intellectually and spiritually, and this timely two day event will do both! This statewide conference, held Aug. 21-22, 2015 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in San Francisco, will be of interest to all who strive to fulfill God’s design in their lives and relationships, and those who minister to them: Catholic school and CCD teachers, Clergy, Parish staff and ministry teams (marriage prep, RCIA leaders and sponsors, youth ministers and team leaders, adult catechesis), Natural Family Planning users, teachers, and promoters, Respect Life advocates and yes--- singles, engaged and married couples, and young adults! When: Aug. 21-22, 2015 Where: St. Mary’s Cathedral, San Francisco For more Info: call 1-877-33-CANFP www.canfp.org or email: info@canfp.org Register by July 20 and receive a 20% Discount! WE BELIEVE That PTSD is best defined as Post Traumatic Soul Distress and recognize that it is primarily a wound to the soul. That the wounds of the soul can be treated with various forms of traditional and new ritual experience. That veterans heal when welcomed by civilians who recognize and own personal and moral responsibility for our veterans and soldiers for the wars we ask them to fight in our name. That veterans heal when the community cares and supports soldiers on their return. That soldiers and civilians need to be reconnected a common experience of healing for ourselves and for our nation. Single room with bath $700.00 Double room with bath $600.00 Some scholarships available. Donations welcomed. Yet again, they asked him for a sign so that they might truly believe in him. Jesus basically tells them that the sign is in their midst, and has always been in their midst. For it was God who gave the bread from heaven to their ancestors in the desert, and it is God who gave them the true bread from heaven, Jesus himself, the Bread of Life.
