Not only must the operator know and follow all traffic rules but they must show care and concern for the natural environment as well as other forest users. The misuse of motor vehicles can lead to the temporary or permanent closure of any road, trail, or area. PROTECT YOUR PRIVILEDGES, STAY ON DESIGNATED ROADS, TRAILS AND AREAS. Individuals should be aware that the roads, trails, and areas may contain hazards that are not signed or even known to Forest Officials. Care should be taken at all times to protect oneself and those in your care. Much of the National Forest may be remote and medical assistance would not be readily available. Cell phones do not work in many areas of the National Forest. Take adequate food, water, first aid supplies and other equipment appropriate for the conditions and expected weather. 051 01 5 Calispell Peak 5 300 25 0 9521 4 95 Miles Addy Mtn 0 07 075 0 30 T 4 0 31 The Butte 100 2 629 311 0 92 F 1 T Castle Rock Washington 0 640 045 T 270 OHV (Off-Highway Vehicle) routes identified on this map are subject to dual-use conflicts during Timber Sale harvesting operations.
