1. OTRZĘSINY KLAS PIERWSZYCH
W poniedziałek, 24 września, jak co roku w naszej szkole, odbyły się otrzęsiny klas
pierwszych.
Najmłodsi gimnazjaliści wraz z wychowawcami zmagali się z ciekawymi, a zarazem
trudnymi konkurencjami, w których mogli wykazad się współpracą i sprytem.
Zadania te przygotowali dla nich ich starsi koledzy z samorządu uczniowskiego.
Każda klasa musiała ułożyd wierszyk o wagarach, stworzyd własne oznakowanie i
własny okrzyk oraz narysowad podobiznę swojej nauczycielki.
Poza tym zmagali się z różnymi konkurencjami sportowymi np. przeskakiwali przez
kij , czy umysłowymi takimi jak odczytywanie planu.
Na koniec zmęczeni uczniowie poznali się lepiej przy wspólnym ognisku. Po tym dniu
mają pierwsze, miejmy nadzieję, miłe wspomnienia z nowej szkoły.

Halloween
The word Halloween was first used in the
16th century and represents a Scottish
variant of the fuller All-Hallows'-Even ("evening"), that is, the night before
All Hallows' Day.[10] Although the phrase All Hallows' is found in Old English
(ealra hālgena mæssedæg, mass-day of all saints), All-Hallows-Even is
itself not seen until 1556.[10]
Trick-or-treating is a customary celebration for children on Halloween. Children go in
costume from house to house, asking for treats such as candy or sometimes money, with the
question, "Trick or treat?" The word "trick" refers to a (mostly idle) "threat" to perform
mischief on the homeowners or their property if no treat is given. In this custom the child
performs some sort of trick, i.e. sings a song or tells a ghost story, to earn their treats.
There are several games traditionally associated with Halloween parties. One common game
is dunking or apple bobbing, which may be called "dooking" in Scotland[45] in which apples
float in a tub or a large basin of water and the participants must use their teeth to remove
an apple from the basin. A variant of dunking involves kneeling on a chair, holding a fork
between the teeth and trying to drop the fork into an apple. Another common game
involves hanging up treacle or syrup-coated scones by strings; these must be eaten without
using hands while they remain attached to the string, an activity that inevitably leads to a
very sticky face.
Because the holiday comes in the wake of the annual apple harvest, candy apples (known as
toffee apples outside North America), caramel or taffy apples are common Halloween treats
made by rolling whole apples in a sticky sugar syrup, sometimes followed by rolling them in
nuts.

Warmest wishes and thanks to all the teachers in our school, regardless
of what they teach. Every branch of science is important. Students do
not treat all subjects equally and believe that some are unnecessary, it is
the teacher who undertakes a task to wake the students’ interest in the
subject of which he is a professor and shows that the subject is worth
learning. How students treat each subject depends on that. It is you who
care about our future and our lives. Thank you for being you.

Teacher: I told you to stand at the end of the
line?
Pupil: I tried, but there was someone already
there!
Teacher: Johnny, you know you can't sleep in
my class.
Pupil: I know. But, maybe if you were just a little quieter, I could.
Q - Why was the head teacher worried?
A - Because there were so many rulers in the school!
A teacher was having trouble teaching arithmetic to one little boy. So she said, "if you reached in your
right pocket and found a nickel, and you reached in your left pocket and found another one, what
would you have?" "Someone else's pants".
The child comes home from his first day at school.
Mother asks, "What did you learn today?"
The kid replies, "Not enough. I have to go back tomorrow."
The teacher is droning away in the classroom when he notices a student sleeping way up in the back
row. The teacher shouts to the sleeping student's neighbor, "Hey wake that student up!" The neighbor
yells back, "You put him to sleep, you wake him up!"
