Michelle Mellette, will be
in the service to speak about
the mission that she and her
husband Jonathan are
involved in.
Native American Christian Academy, located in Sun Valley, Arizona, is a Christian boarding school for Native American children.
The school
primarily serves the Navajo Reservation but also has students who
are Apache and Hopi.
Our mission is to educate and disciple students for Christ. We
fulfill this mission by having 24-7 interaction with our students. From
the classroom to sports to dorm life, the students are surrounded
by people who are a Godly influence.
Our vision is to bring students in with what they want and send
them out with what they need. There are 4 reasons why students
attend Native American Christian Academy. In order they are safety, sports, academics, and Christianity. We provide a safe environment, we are a part of a small sports league, and we provide a
quality education. They receive what they want plus what they need
– a knowledge of the saving power of Christ. Our hope is that our
students will be so transformed by the power of Christ that they will
take that transformation back to their families and the reservation.
Christ can be made known through the kids that come to our
school!
To hear stories about what God is doing at Native American
Christian Academy and learn how you can support this ministry,
come to church on December 27th.
Sunday, January 3. 2016
We will approve and
celebrate the new

A heartfelt thank you to the Bethel United Methodist
family for your prayers, cards, and memorials in
memory of Norma Meyers. A special thank you to
Pastor Mike for meeting with our family and listening
to favorite stories reminiscent of Norma's life and his
comforting words. Also, to the women of the Food and
Fellowship committee for providing a wonderful
luncheon following the funeral. All your kind gestures
will never be forgotten.

Thank you for a very successful Christmas Cabaret.
Many people played key roles. Thank you Jeanne for
the beautiful decorations. It set a picture perfect
atmosphere. Thank you to all who made the delicious
desserts. Thank you to all who helped with set-up,
serving, and clean-up. Thank you to our Praise Band
and special guests for your wonderful musical talents.
Thank you Josh and Tim… the acting out of the "12
Days of Christmas" will long be remembered!
Special thanks to all who attended the evening.
Our purpose of the Cabaret is to raise the funds to
support our two children through World Vision. We
collected $785.00. That is just $55.00 short of our
needed goal to cover the 2016 costs.
Thank you all.
