Singel Flower Market ‘t Japanse Winkeltje Through research and unconventional thinking we develop new ideas in the form of buildings, urban plans, interiors, and spatial concepts. We approach a given program with critical curiosity and search for answers which make a simple and clear statement. The building process has a central position in our work and we believe that material knowledge combined with inspired detailing can generate additional qualities. NEZU AYMO has realized a number of small projects, was nominated in 2010 for the LAI-award for the renovation of ‘t Japanse Winkeltje in Amsterdam, won the first prize in the contest ‘De Knopen van de Drechtsteden’ with an urban / landscape plan for de Kop van’t Land in Dordrecht in 2011 and won the Great Indoors Award for the building Power Toilets in Heerhugowaard.
