*CALL TO WORSHIP
L: Give ear to my words, O Lord; give heed to my groaning.
P: Harken to the sound of my cry, my Ruler and my God,
for to you I pray.
L: O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning
I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch.
P: For you are not a God who delights in wickedness;
evil may not dwell with you.
L: The boastful may not stand before your eyes;
you hate all evildoers.
P: You destroy those who speak lies;
the Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful.
L: But, through the abundance of your steadfast love,
I will enter your house.
P: Toward your holy temple I will worship you in awe.
*CHORAL RESPONSE

I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus
since I found Him a friend so strong and true.
I would tell you how he changed my life completely.
He did something that no other friend could do.
No one ever cared for me like Jesus;
there’s no other friend so kind as He.
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me.
O how much He cared for me!
Everyday He comes to me with new assurance.
More and more I understand His words of love.
But I’ll never know just why He came to save me,
‘till someday I see His blessed face above.
No one ever cared for me like Jesus;
there’s no other friend so kind as He.
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me.
O how much He cared for me!
O how much He cared for me!
Since I met this blessed Savior,
since He cleansed and make me whole,
I will never cease to praise Him,
I’ll shout it while eternity rolls.
He touched me,
He touched me,
and O, the joy that floods my soul.
Something happened, and now I know,
He touched me and made me whole.
Something happened and now I know,
He touched me and made me whole,
Jesus made me whole!
