NEW POLICY IN EFFECT
Effective immediately: all doors to the church will be locked 10 minutes after service starts on
Sundays. You must enter through the main sanctuary doors. We are working on a safe sanctuary
policy for the church for the future but this is a small step that we are taking to keep our congregation safe.
Online Giving
With summer vacations beginning, one way to keep your giving up to
date is to take advantage of our E-Giving program. This is a very safe
and secure way to make your contributions to the church. Your e-giving
will show on your giving statements. You have several ways of setting
up your contribution: from your checking account, by your debit card or
by credit card. You can also set your contribution as a one-time gift or
on a schedule. There is a link on our website or you can go to:
https://e-giving.org/senatobiafirstumc to get started.
Our love and sympathy is extended to
Jennifer Aker and family in the death of
her mother, Patricia Simonton Green.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday
morning, with the funeral service following at
10:00 a.m. at Family Funeral Care, 4925
Summer Ave., Memphis.
Christmas Shoe Boxes
Christmas in July? It is in our church as we prepare shoeboxes for children in Third World countries!! They will be sent to missionaries
who will distribute them to children in remote areas. Now we are collecting small toys, wash cloths, bars of soap, small balls and dolls,
combs and brushes. There are collection boxes in the church, so let's get busy and get they filled! As you shop, please get a few items
for the children. Plans are to get our 75 boxes ready by the end of October.
