São Vicente
The first stop is the panoramic point Fortim,
going from there through the Avenida
Marginal to the municipal market, the Torre
de Belém, the fish market and Praça Estrela,
from where we depart towards Calhau
passing through the agricultural area, the
extinct volcano and Praia Grande. We drive
back to town for lunch. After lunch we will
show you the natural part of the Island:
Monte Verde and the beautiful bay Baía das
Gatas where once a year the famous music
festival takes place. If you wish go for a dip!
On the way back we pass through the
incredible fisherman village Salamansa and
drive towards your hotel.

Monte Verde, and descend from there to
Baía das Gatas, well known for the August
festival. Time for a dip! On the way back we
pass through the incredible fisherman village

Pick up at the Hotel at 07:30am to Mindelo’s
harbour. At 08:00 am ferry boat to Porto Novo.
There a mini-bus will be waiting for you to take
you up to the crater of the Cova volcano, 1.100m
high, soft trekking on one of the greenest valleys of
the island up To Passagem 02.30, alternatively,
participants can choose to go up to Pico da Cruz
by mini-bus and enjoy the forest of pine trees
and a panoramic view over Vale de Paúl,
continuing to Paúl – Lunch, visit to Ribeira
Grande, Ponta do Sol and Fontaínhas. Way
back to Porto Novo. Ferry back to S. Vicente and
transfer to the Hotel.
