Gordon wows Simms Creek crowd
Sierra Gordon stole the
show Saturday while speaking at the Simms Creek Wildlife Management meeting.
Sierra, a sophomore in high
school, shared her past camp
experiences with the Texas
Brigades Camp program.
Sierra said, “At one camp
we learned about quail and
habitat while at another camp
we practiced public speaking.” The Texas Brigade
Camps are wildlife leadership
camps for youth ages 13-17.
Youth can pick from several
themes such and Bobwhite,
Buckskin, Bass, Waterfowl or
Ranch Brigades. Each camp
is 4-½ days long.
