Every day belongs to you. We would empty ourselves before you so there will be room for your entrance into our minds and hearts. This precious gift of life is ours, in trust, from you. We give thanks, for your steadfast love endures forever. That love, expressed in the life of Jesus, dared to challenge those centers of power that lived by other standards. We come to declare that love today. Reign among us, we pray. Amen. UMH 536 THE LORD’S PRAYER Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins*, as we forgive those who sin against us. We have sung this in the past, and it is a very moving presentation of Jesus' last days on earth. It begins with the celebration of Palm Sunday, takes us through the Last Supper, Good Friday, and ends with the 'Hallelujah' Chorus'. It is our choir's favorite Cantata, and we hope you can all join us. Invite some friends. They will not be disappointed. The Sanctuary will be filled with Easter flowers celebrating the resurrection. The Cantata will be presented at both services on Easter Sunday.
