CLICK'S seniors visit the Ariel Sharon Park
CLICK seniors from the "Golan" and "Neve Ne'eman" centers
went on a day trip to the magnificent Ariel Sharon Park where they
had a relaxing breakfast. The park is extremely well-groomed and
the elders watched a movie about its history and how it was built.
After admiring its beauty they went to the Museum of Babylonian
Jewry in Or Yehuda which displays various periods of immigration
to Israel. At the conclusion of the trip they enjoyed a delicious
lunch, returning home tired and very satisfied with the day's varied
activities

Communal massage at the "Giora" center
For those who have tension in their shoulders the seniors at the
"Giora" Center found a creative solution by massaging each other.
They had lots of fun and laughter which helped them to forget the
reality of their real complaints! The club is designed to provide
quality time, ease situational loneliness and to enable the elders to
socialize for a few hours in the day.

CLICK thanks the Israeli Opera Company
A dream came true when one of the Russian elders at CLICK'S
Beith Yakinton center expressed her desire to go to the opera, as
she did in the past many years ago in her homeland. Due to
economic reasons she has not been able to attend the opera in
Israel, but the yearning to return has always been there. Her dream
came true when Maya Cohen, a graduate student in social work
specializing under Yoram Dovrat the director of Beith Yakinton,
took the initiative and contacted the Israeli Opera company in Tel
Aviv and received two free tickets for her and one of her close
friends.
Music in the park
The "Four Seasons" park is situated on a hill on the outskirts of the
Ramat Hadar neighborhood - one of the four colonies that comprise
the city of Hod Hasharon. The seniors from the Beith Yakinton
Center spent the morning at the park on the lush green grass
surrounded by beautiful trees and enjoying the beautiful
surroundings while Raffi Miller, CLICK'S amazing volunteer,
played music in the background.
The seniors from the Hod Center on National radio
Twenty five seniors and staff from the CLICK'S Hod center were
interviewed on the Galey Zahal army radio broadcasting center
about the diverse activities that they attend at the center. Hod is a
unique social business enterprise that operates a multi-disciplinary
service of workshops, lectures and activities for seniors in their
leisure time.
