Project Highlights • Serial no tracking of all products (furniture) • Serial no scanning during receipt and shipment • The designed logistics process supports a structure where items form a unit and units form a set of furniture • Orders are entered for units or/and sets of furniture • Allocation is done against units and/or sets of furniture • In case a unit or set can’t be completed during allocation, the other items are not allocated either www.la.com.tr • Shipment can be preplanned based on volume and shipment can be allocated. The system automatically detects and sorts all open orders of the shipment customer and it can allocate for the total of required volume and create task lists. The users pick, load and ship these task lists. • The system allows unit/sets during loading. In case there are items that can’t be unitized, shipment is not allowed for departure • Within the production warehouse, the production orders flow into the system before items are produced and as these items are received from production, the production orders are closed. • A pallet of items can be picked from its stock location and the items in the pallet are sorted into customer shipment locations • There is narrow-aisle operation in the warehouses. The system lets the reachtruck operator know which pallets will be brought down from stock locations and which pallets will be replenished to which locations through a custom screen • There is flow-through operation in the warehouses. The items that are received from production can be directly reserved for orders and shipped without putaway into stock. • The integration between LO WMS and Boytaş SAP includes 10 gateways and runs on SAP's iDoc files. - Master data, parties, BOMs (bill of material) flow into LO from SAP - The serial numbers are pre-imported from SAP; in case there is mismatch with serial numbers during receipt, the system gives error - Expected receipts flow from SAP - Receipt confirmation is sent back to SAP after receipts are completed - Customer orders flow from SAP - After picking is completed, shipment and serial number confirmation is sent back to SAP - There is a separate service for cancellations - Returns flow through integration About LA Software Group LA, that was founded in 2004, is serving the global players with a strong team of consultants with global implementation experience.
