After ten years of publishing airdrielife, we know a thing or two about life in Airdrie. Which is why we are the go-to media of choice for the most savvy of businesses wanting to get their message prominently in front of the eyes of Airdrie and area residents. We say “and area” because we are the onLY Airdrie focused publication that is also distributed in Calgary and CrossIron Mills. With airdrielife your ad is seen for 12 straight weeks as we constantly re-stock more than 150 rack locations in Airdrie and Calgary year round. one ad in airdrielife is more cost effective than any other ad media in the area. Compare this: A 1/3 page in airdrielife is $1050 for 12 weeks of exposure. To get the same shelf life you would need to advertise EVERY week in a weekly publication. The average 1/3 page cost in a weekly is $219. That works out to $2628 for the same time frame as airdrielife. 11* new people a day move to Airdrie – that’s 11 reasons every day to make sure your name is out there. WHY MAGAZINE ADVERTISING WORKS The Most Informative Medium I have gone to a website after seeing an advertisement in/on (medium) (%) - Consumers rate magazines as the most informative medium. Magazines influence purchase behaviour early in the decisionmaking process, giving readers ideas of what to buy, more so than newspapers or TV. Magazines Communicate Better - Reader involvement in magazine advertising delivers 39% more awareness of the brand message than TV, on that all important first exposure. Build Relationships - Magazines are the most personal of media, creating private and intimate connections with each individual reader. Magazines are invited guests, creating strategic or tactical one-on-one conversations with your customers. Magazines Drive to Websites and Search Magazines drive consumers to advertiser websites where they can learn more or purchase the advertised product/service. Magazines are also great at initiating a search. Readers shop magazines to learn what’s new and what may be of interest to them; they are often inspired to learn more through search before purchasing a product. 30 25 20 15 10 5 0 Magazines Newspapers Radio 26%14% 11% Source: ICOM, American Advertising Federation Distribution Highlights Full door to door delivery to all households in Airdrie • 100 rack locations in Calgary • More than 50 rack locations in Airdrie • More than 30 showhomes in Airdrie • Exclusive distribution in CrossIron Mills – the only Airdrie focused publication allowed. • Digital exposure of full magazine online at airdrielife.com • 12 full weeks of restocking in all racks for each issue Editorial Calendar In every issue: Life in the Moment – exploring arts and culture, fashion, dining out, shopping and events.
