GWRRA CHAPTER O Lakeshore Wings Holland, MI Region D * District MI April 2013 GWRRA Officers Director GWRRA: Jere Goodman, Director 540-623-0447 Director@gwrra.org Kortman’s Kaleidoscope Region D: Roger & Penny Hurley 937-698-4443 Happy, Happy, Happy ride season has finally arrived. Sad, Sad, Sad that the weather isn’t ready for us to ride. MI District: Kim & Sandy Bargeron kimtbar@aol.com 989-689-5443 The scuttle bug is that this year’s rides are going to be fun! There are discussions about Niehaus Weekend Ride (see Mark Your Calendar for more information), a brown bag ride up to Newaygo, a brown bag ride to an award winning garden (Rich & Kay’s home), a Progressive Ice Cream Ride, a Riddle Game and much, much more. Assistant Director: Farmer & Terry Rogers Now, we wait for the weather! While we wait, can you think of a restaurant that we haven’t been to that has great food? Would you like to try leading a ride? Have you wished we would have more rides on the weekends? Plan a day ride, let us know. If you aren’t comfortable leading, ask someone that does lead well. We would love to fill Herm’s Ride Calendar! Just let Herm know when and where. RIDER ED Jim & Laurie Voogd Thank you to everyone for the prayers and support of our Chapter O Family as we deal with the Islet Cell Cancer. As we travel the many trips to Mayo Clinic in MN for either my routine check-ups or for follow up visits we can't help but feel the blessings we have received. All the cards, letters, and words of encouragement really mean a lot to us. We are so blessed to be a part of such a great and thoughtful GWRRA family. Please continue your prayers for the following weeks as I will be fitted for a "pain pump" to relieve some of the pain. Jean Wynsma WINGLESS WEEKEND 2013 Chapter O has been known to bring its own party. We had a fun weekend spending it with friends. Our center piece didn’t win anything, but it was pretty. We even closed the dance floor. We were the last ones out of the banquet room (excluding State Staff and hotel staff). We took a few pictures of the fun. Hope you enjoy. 2013 Ride Game All cities & towns are in Michigan. Their names may have twin in another state or its name is interesting. Here are your trivia hints.
