Wreaths Across America A convoy of wreaths going to Arlington National Cemetery will be going through the Route 1, Waldoboro area on Sunday, Dec. 7, approximately at 3p.m. Come out and show your support!! Yearbooks are on sale for $50. Forms can be found in the main office. Make checks payable to MVHS. Parent Yearbook Ads 1/8 of a page $30, due by 1/9. Girl Scout Troop 1160 Holiday Babysitting Night Friday, December 12th Its parent’s night out! Looking for a little time to do some Holiday shopping on your own or maybe a date night? Parents may drop off their child(dren) ages 5-12, at the Second Congregational Church in Warren from 6-9PM. There will be movies, crafts, a BIG Lego table and a snack. Cost is $15 per child or $35 per family. Children should eat supper before attending. Scouts from Troop 1160 are raising funds to travel to Washington DC over April Vacation in 2015. There will be Girl Scouts and adults at the babysitting night to provide your child with a fun and safe evening. Second Congregational Church 252 Main Street, Warren FMI Contact Amanda Shelmerdine 207.273.4391 Affordable Care Act: Enrolling for Individual Health Insurance Open enrollment for 2015 under the Affordable Care Act begins November 15. Health insurance specialists from Allen Insurance and Financial in Camden will help participants through the enrollment process and answer questions about plan choices. Please note that there are some very important prerequisites for this session. All participants must have the following with them in order to participate in the session: 1. An active email address. 2. A user name and password that you obtained online at healthcare.gov either as part of enrolling in 2014 or as part of a preregistration activity for 2015. Class meets Tuesday, 12/9 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Fee: FREE. MVHS Room 27. Italian Night at the Badger Café with Chef Michael Greer Join Chef Michael Greer for a night of homemade Italian cooking! Come and help prepare and then dine on freshly made pasta, sausages and tomato sauce all served with a hearty Caesar salad. A materials fee of $15 is payable to the chef at the class. Class meets Monday, 12/15 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Fee: $19/$24 non-‐resident. Class is held at the Badger Café, Union Common. Would you like to teach or take a particular class in adult education? Now is the time to let us know! We are now working on the brochure for the new winter/spring semester, which will begin in February and run through the end of May. If you would like to teach a class in adult education, or have a class in mind that you would like to take in the future, give us a call or send us an email and we will work with you to make it happen! Charging a laptop computer. These are second nature for most of us. Electricity makes our lives easier. However, we need to be cautious and keep safety in mind.
