NOZOMI KANDA
Graduated
from Ferris University in Japan
and The Mons Royal Conservatory in
Belgium. She studied under Akane
Takahashi, Yasukazu Uemura, Yukihiko
Nishizawa and Marc Grauwels in Belgium.
While in Paris, Nozomi studied under
Vincent Lucas and later with Vincent
Cortvrint.
After
finishing her studies, Nozomi has
performed together with a broad range of
artists, including her ex-professeur Marc
Grauwels, Pascal Moraguès, Francis Orval,
Sylvain Creemers and many others.
Nozomi’s chamber music concerts and
recitals have seen her perform in many
countries, including Belgium, Spain, France,
Luxembourg, Norway, Tunisia and her home
country, Japan.
During
her studies, Nozomi studied also a
traditional Japanese flute with Kohei
Nishikawa. She also regularly gives
Japanese music concerts with ensembles that
include japanese instruments and also with
classical occidental instruments.
S ince
2012, Nozomi Kanda teaches
International Music Academ in Dinant, also
she gave seminars in France and Japan. She
regularly gives Japanese flute seminar in
Paris.
Le Trio Tokyo-Bruxelles est constitué de la flûtiste
japonaise Nozomi Kanda, du violoncelliste Nicolas
Deletaille et de la pianiste Keiko Nagahama. Ces trois
jeunes artistes, issus d'écoles prestigieuses au Japon, en
Belgique, en France et aux Etats-Unis se produisent
comme chambristes dans de nombreux pays. Le Trio a
pour vocation de faire connaître le répertoire historique
pour flûte, violoncelle et piano mais aussi de susciter et
de défendre de nouvelles oeuvres écrites aujourd'hui
pour cette formation.
NICOLAS DELETAILLE
KEIKO NAGAHAMA
After
Born
receiving his musical education in
Belgium and the U.S., Nicolas Deletaille
began his professional career as a
performing artist.
Since this time, he has recorded Bach’s six
cello suites, Beethoven’s five cello sonatas,
Liszt late works for cello and piano, and
major works from the solo repertory by
Kodály, Cassadó, Ysaÿe, and Ligeti. He has
recorded numerous chamber works with the
Mendelssohn Ensemble, the Rosamonde
String Quartet, and Paul Badura-Skoda.
He has earned distinction as an arpeggione
player by recording Schubert’s arpeggione
sonata for the Fuga Libera record label. He
has given approximately 70 world premieres,
many of which were of works composed for
him. Among these are several new
compositions for arpeggione, representing
his effort to enhance the arpeggione
repertoire.
For the last four years Nicolas Deletaille has
been cello instructor at the Eastern
Mediterranean University, Famagusta. He is
now living in Belgium, where he is a PhD
candidate at docARTES (Ghent/KULeuven).

started her musical studies at the age of 3.
She
graduated from Toho-Gakuen High
School of Music(piano) and Toho-Gakuen
College of Music(piano). She also studied
chamber music, piano accompagniment,
conducting and pedagogy.
After
awarded the 1st prize at the CNR
Rueil-Malmaison in the Class of Chantal
Riou, she completed her studies at the cycle
supérieur in the class of Olivier Gardon at
the Concervatoire Supérieur de Paris(CRR)
and also studied chamber music under
F. P e n n e t i e r, M . F. G i r e t a n d p i a n o
accompaniment under Christine RouaultLouchart.
S he
is member of “Tokyo-Bruxelles
Trio”(with Nozomi Kanda - flute and
Nicolas Deletaille - Cello). Her recitals and
chamber music concerts have seen her
perform in many countries, including
France, Belgium, Austria, USA and her
home country, Japan.
She is actually teaching at Tsuru University
since 2012.
Nozomi regularly writes articles for a
Yokohama newspaper as well as the online
BEL2.
