As President of the Southeastern Shrine Association, it is my pleasure to extend to each of you a warm
welcome to the 77th Annual SESA Convention. On behalf of the SESA Officers and Past Presidents we
welcome each of you to Louisville, Kentucky.
Kosair’ Shrine Center’s goal is to provide you with the fun and fellowship while visiting our oasis. The
Kosair Divan along with the nobles and their ladies have worked diligently to insure that you have a
wonderful convention.
While you are in our Historical City we hope you will take the opportunity to explore the many sites and
historical landmarks. Also we encourage you to visit Kosair Shrine Center and take part in all the activities
planed for your enjoyment.
Have a great time, feel at home and enjoy our hospitality. It’s great to be a SHRINER and even better when
SHRINERS get together for fun, fellowship. I would like to say a special THANK YOU to all Uniform Unit and individuals that has worked to make
the 2011 SESA Convention a success. It has been my pleasure and honor to serve as your President and I hope you enjoy your stay in Louisville

This event is sponsored and produced by the Kosair Charities Committee, Inc. for the purpose of
acquainting other Shrine Centers with our charity model.

On behalf of the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau, I would like to officially
welcome all members of the Southeastern Shrine Association Convention to Louisville.
During your visit, I hope you will experience the warmth, spirit and hospitality that
make Louisville one of our Nation’s top destinations in the country. We are also the
Gateway to Bourbon Country with multiple distillery tours available just a short drive
away that will provide you with an authentic experience you cannot get anywhere else.
Also, while you are in Louisville please take some time to visit Museum Row on Main St.
right downtown where you will find nine outstanding attractions from which to choose
such as the Louisville Slugger Museum and Bat Factory, The Frazer History Center or
the world famous Muhammad Ali Center. Other must sees are the Kentucky Derby
Museum located at historic Churchill Downs and the Belle of Louisville, the oldest river
steamboat still in operation. And while in town we have over 2,500 fabulous
restaurants from which to choose. You can learn more about our city and its great
attractions, shopping and dining options by visiting our Visitor Information Center
located on the corner of Fourth and Jefferson Street attached to the Hyatt Hotel. Our
trained staff will be delighted to help you with suggestions and directions.
