Sacrament of Confirmation.
Confirmation Meeting Tonight;
Wednesday 22nd June.
Parents who have children in Year 2 or above who have been
baptised and would like to receive the next sacrament of
initiation are invited to attend a Confirmation Information Night
at St Joseph’s Coraki tonight at 5:30pm in the Stage 2 classroom.
Soup will be served prior to the meeting commencing. Next Term
the children will be beginning their preparation for receiving the
Gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation on
Sunday 28th August. The Confirmation Ceremony will be presided
by the Most Reverend Geoffrey Jarrett DD Bishop of Lismore.
This year, the Coraki Parish has adopted the family-centred
Sacramental program again to assist parents in supporting and
being part of their child’s faith journey in a meaningful and
special way. It involves families forming small groups to come
together for sessions prior to the celebration. The supporting
parent/s and child/children receiving the sacrament would
attend the sessions.
