How to Search the Guild’s library on Ravelry
1. Log in to Ravelry
2. Go to the “people” tab.
3. Type “VFAguild” in the search field.

4. I recommend clicking “add to my friends” so that you don’t have to search for
VFAguild each time.
5. Click on “faves”.

6. Click on “Patterns”

7. Click on “use advanced search”

8. You will now be in an advanced pattern search. There is already a filter to search for
items “favorited by VFAguild”
9. Feel free to use any of the filters on the left. There are a wide variety to choose from,
don’t be afraid to experiment!

What does this tell you?
• Each of the patterns in VFAguild’s favorites are found in a publication in the guild’s
physical library collection.
How does it work?
• An updated inventory of the physical library was completed.
• As many as possible of these books and magazines were entered into Ravelry
• Most of these books and magazines are already in Ravelry’s database, so they link
up with patterns.
• After entering the patterns, they are each added to VFAguild’s favorite list.
