Brewer Application Rules and Regulations Rio de Cerveza Brew Fest Saturday, October 24th, 2015 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 1280 Desert Sun Drive * Yuma, Arizona 85364 Thank you for your interest in participating in our 3rd annual beer tasting festival! In addition to a plethora of brewers, the Rio de Cerveza will also have local food vendors and great live music. Application Deadline is October 9, 2015 Rules and Regulations brewers and distributors must abide by to participate: o o Festival Hours: VIP hours: 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. General Admission: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. One table and 4 chairs will be provided to each brewer at no cost. Shade canopies (EZ Up), extra tables and chairs are available for rent, if needed. o Booths must be set up by 3:30 p.m. and all vehicles MUST be off the field no later than 3:00 p.m. The field will be open by 1:30 p.m. for set up. o All booths must be professional in appearance. Booth must display professional signage, which identifies the business/organization and products. o All brewer representatives must be over 21 years of age and able to show valid ID. o Security will be provided during the hours of the event. However, the Yuma Visitors Bureau is not responsible for the security of individual booths. Participants are responsible to secure their own booths, supplies and equipment. o Yuma Visitors Bureau will provide a hotel room for one (1) night per brewery, either the day before or the day of the event. Please complete the Hotel Reservation form included in this packet, if you need this provision. o There will be no selling of alcohol on site and samples must be no more than 5 ounces. Samples may only be given to attendees wearing designated wristbands for sampling and must be poured in the Brew Fest sample mug. o All brewers must abide by all City, County, State and Federal laws regulating alcoholic sales, consumption and operations. o All brewers are required to obtain all required license(s), permit(s), and liability insurance policy. A general liability and liquor liability certificate of insurance must be provided in the amount of $1,000,000, naming the Yuma Visitors Bureau and the City of Yuma, Arizona as additionally insured. This insurance must also cover any bodily injury, illegal activity, property damage and all other liabilities arising from the operation of the exhibit or products as samples during the event. o Yuma Visitors Bureau reserves the right to refuse service to anyone or any organization. o This event’s beneficiary is the Yuma Community Foundation’s Yuma Veterans Fund. o Applications can be emailed to our Brewer Coordinator Bob Nidiffer at Bob@VisitYuma.com o Applications can also be mailed to: Rio de Cerveza 180 W. 1st St., Suite D Yuma, AZ 85364 o Feel free to call our office with any questions, at 928-376-0100.
