GEN’S SERVICE TO OTHERS We are still in great need of personal care items at the Immaculate Conception Food Pantry. These are the things we need the most: shampoo, bar soap, shaving cream, razors, toothpaste, tooth brushes, body lotion, body wash, deodorant, Kleenex, toilet tissue. At this time we do not need feminine hygiene products or hair conditioner. A collection bin is in the Usher’s Room and the items can be placed in the bins. Thank you so much! At this time, we ask that you do not bring clothing or household items to be left in the Bride’s Room. We no longer have a way to distribute them to those who might need them. We appreciate all your past support! St. Vincent de Paul Society 2016 CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE We are excited this year to reinstate the Christmas Giving Tree program at Ste Genevieve benefitting St. Liborius Social Ministries in the city of St. Louis. We are starting early this year because our goal is to provide gifts for all of the 300 children from 120 families. We are now looking for anyone interested in adopting a family with two to seven children. We are asking you to purchase 2 gifts per child in the family which should include 1 toy or game, and 1 article of clothing from their “wish list”. The children of families not adopted will be represented on individual ornaments hanging from our tree. So Please – Open your heart this holiday season to make Christmas as special in their home as it is in yours ! Please contact Joy Hercules (314)452-8997 or hercules63124@msn.com to discuss the family for you. Thanks ! STE. We got to take a bus and sleep there for 3 nights! We went horse back riding, made s'mores around a bonfire, tried zip lining, climbed an alpine tower, took a night hike, and learned how to make fire. My favorite was horse back riding -- it was my first time! I wanted to ride my horse all the way back to St. Louis it was so fun! The 6th graders at Pillar came too, so we got to make new friends. My class really liked 6th grade camp but we were really tired when we got home! We got back on Thursday, and Friday at school the Glendale Fire Department came to school and brought their fire truck! It was a great week! Jack Hansen — 6th grade SPORTS NEWS RESPECT LIFE APOSTOLATE COMMUNITY NEWS Ste.
