The Call To Ministry
Marsa Matrooh is a coastal city far from Cairo, Egypt.
There are close to 3.7 million people who live here. The
majority of work comes from farming.
There are some of the biggest drug dealers in our city.
The Bedouin hate Christians and the Christians try not to
bother them. Unfortantely, the Bedouin’s used to be
Christians but converted after the second world war by a
Libyan leader.
We gather in the same house of a ‘brother’ (member)
every week. We have Sunday school, Bible study, and Prayer
meetings. These services are underground because of the
persecution that comes from being seen by the eyes of the
people and security. Serving God in Marsa Matrooh is illegal
and we must be
careful. We have 70
people in fellowship
and just added 26 new
members! We also go
to the poor and
widows in their time
of need.

reach and impact vulnerable children
in villages with the gospel. We
financially and spiritually support
local churches, believers and
ministers who help these children
and their families through counsel
and providing for financial needs.

Menna Soby Agaiby
Menna Soby Agaiby is 10 years old and she has
two sisters. One of her sisters fell from the second
floor and needs a lot of medical exams, x-rays, and
medications. Her parents are very poor and her father
doesn’t have a steady work. The family enjoys the
pastor’s visits every month. We pray for God’s peace
in their home and for His provision for their needs. We
also pray that the family would grow in their faith in
the Lord and would begin going to Church regularly.
This way, they can receive counseling and maybe
some medication for Menna’s sister.
