VISIT TO LJUBLJANA

departure by bus to Ljubljana.
Starting-point: Oberdan Square 6, in front of the building of the Consiglio Regionale of Friuli Venezia
Giulia
9.30 am
Arrive at Ljubljana, Trg republike, and beginning of the city tour
10.15 am - 1.00 pmPlečnik's Ljubljana guided tour (with MAO local guide), meeting point near Summer theatre Križanke on
French revolution square. At noon, we will continue the tour visiting the historical center and the Ljubljana
Castle
1.30 - 2.30 pm
free lunch: there are plenty good café and restaurants for lunch in the city center, near the traditional
Market or along the Ljubljanica riverside
2:30 - 6.00 pm
visit to the central cemetery of Žale and to the Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO) in the Fužine
Castle, where we can see (with guided tour) the Exhibition "19th Century Architecture in Slovenia".
At the end, return to Trieste
8.00 pm
