St. Anne’s is building another house for a family in need from the Kobonal Mission in Haiti. The cost to build a home for a family is $6000 – if every family from St. Anne’s donated $10 – we would easily raise enough money to build another home. The Haiti team members passed out Easter Eggs the weekend of Mar. 5. Please fill the eggs with eggstra (haha) change or bills that you have at home. You can also go to our webpage and donate online http://www.crosscatholic.org/stannetulsa Please return the eggs the weekends of March 12th and 19th. FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK: ST. FIFTH SUNDAY OF LENT STEWARDSHIP CORNER “Jesus bent down and began to write on the ground with his finger.” This is how our Gospel Reading from St. John describes Jesus’ immediate response to the woman accused of adultery. He “stooped down,” humbling himself and putting the woman at ease and identifying with her. We often speak of seeing Jesus in others, in treating them in a way that reflects love and caring, not judgment. Blessed Mother Teresa once stated, “I see Jesus in every human being. I say to myself, ‘This is hungry Jesus. I must feed Him.’ Or ‘This is sick Jesus who has leprosy and gangrene.’ I serve because I love Jesus.” Stewardship calls us to show the same kind of love reflected by Jesus in the Gospel and in the words and actions of Mother Teresa. We are all called to humble ourselves and see Jesus in others. HOSPITALITY COFFEE & DONUTS: Don’t forget to stop By St. Francis Hall between Masses to have Coffee & Donuts with fellow parishioners! This is a great way to meet new people, connect with old friends & support our parish with your donation. If you have a family member in the hospital or homebound, and wish them to receive the Eucharist, please call the parish office (918-251-4000) and we will make arrangements for a member of the Pastoral Care committee to bring the Eucharist to them. PALM SUNDAY NIGHT AT THE CATHEDRAL The Latin word tenebrae means “shadows” and refers first of all to the fact that Tenebrae is celebrated at the Cathedral, in the shadows of Lent, as the light fades away on Palm Sunday evening. Tenebrae also refers to the shadow of sorrows that crosses out hearts as we participate in this moving preparation for the ceremonies of the Triduum. If you long to make your Holy Week more prayerful and your Easter richer, join us for this inspiring service, 7pm Palm Sunday Night, March 20th. The Larry Guinan Family would like to thank Fr. Kastl and the St. Anne parishioners for the Masses, funeral lunch, prayers and support as they grieve the loss of Bobbie Guinan. SPONSOR OF THE WEEK A & N Trailer Parts, Inc.
