This Declaration is due to the export of skins, hides and fleeces to China. A Chain of Declaration has now been set up from Producer, through Livestock Markets and Abattoirs to Salting Plants so that all skins and hides can be declared not to have come from within the Anthrax Restriction Zone. It is essential then that all slaughter cattle and sheep are accompanied by a signed Declaration stating the origin of the animals and supported by cattle passports and sheep movement forms. The Declaration Form is enclosed herewith.
