Leeds Trinity University: warmly invites parishioners to the celebrations for the patronal Feast day being held this year on 5th November. Mgr John Wilson, will celebrate Mass at 10.30am in the Chapel. After light refreshments, Fr Bob Gardner, SDB, will speak about St John Bosco, founder of the Salesians, whose Bicentenary we are celebrating this year. The event will be held on the 16th November 2014 from 10.30am till 3.00pm in the Queens Hall. (setting up is from 8.00am.) Last year all donations received for tea/coffee and buns were given to Mencap. This year donations will be given to Mary’s Meals. Mary’s Meals provide daily meals to chronically hungry children in a place of learning. The pro-life charity is hoping to open a charity shop in the Cross Gates area of Leeds in early 2015. They need to raise £10,000 to cover start-up costs and so far have raised over £6,000.
