Gibbs Gardens has handicapped parking near the garden entrance. The Valley Gardens are predominantly wheelchair accessible. The Welcome Center (ticketing, restrooms and The Seasons gift store) and The Arbor Café are all wheelchair accessible. The paths in our Valley Gardens are easy to traverse; they are quite level and wide. There are many benches throughout the gardens that provide a comfortable place to sit and rest or just gaze around the gardens. The paths are covered with a ground granite composition that becomes quite hard in dry weather; however, after days of heavy rain it may soften a bit causing wheels to become mired. For the safety of our visitors, the use of wheelchairs, electric scooters and strollers is restricted on our garden pathways. continued on page 2 -2- Gibbs Garden continued from page 1 We advise disabled visitors to check our home page at www. gibbsgardens.com, weather reports or contact us after heavy rains before coming to visit the gardens. We do not rent wheelchairs at the gardens. To register on-line go to: http://msreg.com/GibbsGardens or visit the Peach Page to register by mail! Registration closes on April 16th. Questions?
