10 Fresh Quilts from one traditional block.
Whether you are a new or experienced
quilter there is something for everyone in
this book. The 10 different patterns
include multiple size options, some ranging
from crib size to king size.
The Thread Director – New from Market!
The Thread Director is a specialty thread spool pin
adapter. This amazing sewing machine accessory changes
the orientation of your sewing machine's spool pin. This
change allows metallic and delicate specialty threads to
unwind flat into the machine thread path, eliminating
twisting, tangling, pooling and breakage.
The Ideal Seam Guide is the perfect tool for sewers
and quilters who have difficulty finding the perfect
stitching width. The kit includes a seam gauge to
measure for ¼” to 1” sewing widths and two seam
guides, straight and curved.
The Elizabeth Bag is from the magazine “Mod Block” Issue 1, from
Missouri Star Quilt Co. - Improv Bag pattern. It looks great in the Elizabeth
Fabric Collection from Tula Pink. Made by Willie Ruth Smith

Austin Bluebird Sampler (click here to sign-up)
a 12 month block of the month
Designed by Minick and Simpson
75” x 87”
Austin Bluebird Sampler was designed from an antique quilt found at an
estate sale in Texas. One of the blocks caught the designer’s eye - the
applique block that is on the bottom left of the quilt; sweet little bluebirds on
a branch surrounded by rosebuds. You’ll see these little bluebirds
throughout the quilt.
This 12 month Block of the month
will be starting in March. The quilt
features Moda’s fabric collection from
Minick and Simpson, Lexington blues
and some reds from Grant Park and
Midwinter Reds. Each month you will
receive fabrics and pattern for either
applique and/or piecing and includes
binding. Backing fabric is sold
separately and requires 5½ yards.
The cost is $25.95 each month for 12
months.
Debbie is busy stitching. Isn’t it
going to be pretty?
