The Thread Director – New from Market! The Thread Director is a specialty thread spool pin adapter. This amazing sewing machine accessory changes the orientation of your sewing machine's spool pin. This change allows metallic and delicate specialty threads to unwind flat into the machine thread path, eliminating twisting, tangling, pooling and breakage. The Ideal Seam Guide is the perfect tool for sewers and quilters who have difficulty finding the perfect stitching width. New Blocks of the Months for 2015 Holly’s Tree Farm Starts in June Sweetwater will actually personalize one block with your name or your family name and the 2015 Year. This is a new 6-month block of the month. You will love embellishing these Holly Tree Farm Blocks using simple embroidery stitches. Of course, you don’t have to do anything to them because they are so cute! The cost is $56.95 for the fabric packet and first months’ blocks. The cost for the next 5 months’ blocks is $14.95. The block-of-the-month includes the Holly Tree Farm Blocks, Holly Tree fabrics for the quilt top and binding and embroidery threads. Only a few spots remaining - so click to sign-up now! This block will be personalized for you! Austin Bluebird Sampler (click here to sign-up) a 12 month block of the month Designed by Minick and Simpson 75” x 87” Austin Bluebird Sampler was designed from an antique quilt found at an estate sale in Texas. One of the blocks caught the designer’s eye - the applique block that is on the bottom left of the quilt; sweet little bluebirds on a branch surrounded by rosebuds. You’ll see these little bluebirds throughout the quilt. This 12 month Block of the month will be starting in March. The quilt features Moda’s fabric collection from Minick and Simpson, Lexington blues and some reds from Grant Park and Midwinter Reds. Each month you will receive fabrics and pattern for either applique and/or piecing and includes binding. Backing fabric is sold separately and requires 5½ yards. The first month you will receive two spools of thread, our favorite shape-flex embroidery backing, the fabric for that month and pattern. Each month following you will receive the pattern and fabric.
