Paulinians Alumnae (Toronto)
Paulinians Alumnae (Toronto) 30th Anniversary Gala October 3, 2015 Paulinians Alumnae (Toronto) has been holding a fairly long history since 1985. 30th Anniversary is indeed a significant milestone which calls for a big celebration. As the President, I was facing one of the biggest challenges in life that a special event must be showcased in its best possible way. I must say I was extremely thankful and pleased to have worked with a dedicated team of organizing committee members towards this project in the past few months. I was totally mesmerized with the floating white, gold and silver balloons on arrival at the Regency Ballroom of Granite Club in the mid afternoon. The lime colored carnation corsages complimented one another along with an array of the fresh colorful floral arrangements and centrepieces throughout the party room. The professional photo booth set up was a delight to all, which allowed all guests to take memorable portraits with their loved ones and fellow classmates. The entire program of the night was well organized and executed by all parties concerned. Thanks to the marvellous job of our 2 Masters of Ceremony, the decoration team, the Floor Manager, the DJ, the Photographers and all the volunteers who helped out. The special performances of the evening included the Wing Tsun dance/demonstrations by a 10 year old boy who is the grandson of a Past President and his fellow masters; and some singing from the Phantom of the Opera by my humble self and husband. The lucky draw prizes all sponsored generously by our executives and members were special and unique. The cash prize and raffle ticket draws added much fun to the evening and some revenue to our alumnae account. The toasting around the tables proved to be a warm gesture to acknowledge the presence and support of each guest who was in attendance. All in all, it was a grand night for our Toronto Chapter to take pride of for many years to come. I just can’t wait to share some highlights of the night with you all. Click here to see the pictures.
