This is a reminder that ALL forms were due March 1st. ALL families MUST return forms. Thank you
to the 206 families who have sent in the paperwork. May we ask the remaining 130 families to please
send in your paperwork ASAP as it is now past due? Thank you.
Sixth and Seventh Grade High School Fair
Annunciation School will host its annual High School Fair on Friday, March 18th. Grade 7 will visit
the fair from 9:15-10:00AM and grade 6 will visit from 10:00-10:45 in our school gym. Parents
are encouraged to attend.
Ladies Guild Palm Sunday Bake Sale: Please marks your calendars and starts your mixers! The
Annunciation Ladies Guild will be hosting its annual Palm Sunday Bake Sale in the school gym
following the 5pm Mass on Saturday, March 19th and continuing throughout the morning of Sunday,
March 20th. We are in need of baked goods such as cakes, pies, cookies and cupcakes! Our best sellers
are the home cooked meals such as stromboli, chili, chicken pot pie and quiche. We will be selling
gluten-free and nut-free baked goods again this year. The class with the most donated baked goods,
wins a pizza party!
Congratulations CYO 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Boys
On Sunday, March 6th, at Iona Prep, the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade boys CYO basketball teams each
played in their respective Westchester-Putnam CYO Championship Games. The 5th grade boys won
1st place in the championship game for their division. Congratulations to the following members of
the team: Joseph Blaney, Christopher D'Abbraccio, Nicholas Delguidice, Brendan Drew, Tommy
Fitzmaurice, Sean Fogarty, Joseph Larson, Danny McCusker, Tommy Neglia, Brady Sharkey, Nolan
Sharkey, and Michael Trombetta. The 4th grade boys won 2nd place in the championship game for
their division. Congratulations to Jack Barros, John Blaney, Graydon Crabtree, Silvio Morovic, Ryan
Morris, Liam Nyland, John Pagliarulo, Rory Tobin, and Thomas Tortorello. The 6th grade boys won
2nd place in the championship for their division. Congratulations to James Flynn, Ryan
McGrath, Chris Milillo, Mike Mueller, Shane O'Brien, Marco Petit, Bryce Randolph, Jake Roque,
Patrick Tannian, and Thomas Wissner.
Family Mass
This Sunday, the 10AM Family Mass will involve 7th graders from Annunciation School and the
parish Religious Education Program. Any family that has a 7th grade student is invited to sit in a
special section in the front of the Church during the Mass. All 7th graders and their families are invited
to the Lower Church after Mass to enjoy coffee, juice and donuts.

We have a new PreK-3 program!
Are you interested in having your child be part
of a caring, age-appropriate,
faith-based three year old program?
²  Three year olds will explore the world through play,
literature, and music and participate in special activities such
as gym, art, and technology.
²  The class will have a full-time teacher and teacher’s assistant.
²  The half-day program will follow Annunciation’s school
calendar and will run from 8:15AM – 11:30AM, every day.
²  Three year olds can also attend early morning care, available
from 7:15AM.
²  Tuition will be $4,500/year plus PreK student fees.
²  Children must be three years old by 12/31/16.

The event last Friday would not have been possible without the commitment of many

break down of the seating, snack bar and the stage.

their group, but also plan the costumes and choreography as well as schedule the practice

As in past years, the Annunciation Home School Association is selling gift cards to Stew Leonard’s.
Stock up now for all of your Easter purchases! For each gift card you purchase, Annunciation
School receives up to 10% of the total we purchase as a group, and you get the full value of the gift card.
It really is as easy as that!
If you wish to order one or more gift cards, please complete the bottom portion of this flyer and return it
to school with a check payable to Annunciation Home School Association, in an envelope marked
“Stew Leonard’s Gift Cards.” All gift card orders MUST be returned by Wednesday,
March 16 th . The cards can be sent home in your child’s homework folder or will be available for
pick up at school on Friday, March 18 .

Our Lady of Fatima Church
followed by a simple Lenten supper of homemade
soup and bread at 6:00 p.m. in Michael Breen Parish Hall
(This will be the only St. Joseph’s Day Celebration for the Parish. Also please
note new mass time.)
“Free will” offerings at supper will benefit the Food Pantry run by The Franciscan
Sisters of the Renewal, which serves our needy neighbors in the Bronx.

will be collecting candy, plastic eggs, stuffing, ribbon for our annual donation of Easter baskets for needy children this week. Candy can be sent in with your children through school or dropped off at the rectory. Collection boxes will be placed outside Mrs. Sinott’s office and in the rectory. We are also in need of volunteers to help make baskets on March 16th at 7:30 in the Parish Room. As always, your generosity is greatly appreciated. We wish you all a blessed Easter. Thank you!
