FRESHMAN AUGUST 21ST 9:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (all incoming freshman should attend the whole time.) *** GRADES 10TH,11TH, 12TH AUGUST 22nd 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. -2:30 p.m. (students may drop in any time during set hours.) FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL SEPTEMBER 3RD - FULL DAY Please print the attached coupon and take it to Uccello's in Caledonia from 4-10pm and you will receive 10% off your total order and a portion of the proceeds will be donated by Uccello's to the Caledonia Bands. This is a great opportunity for us to raise money for the MS and HS Band program without really having to do anything! CHS Fighting Scot Update INFORMATION AND SIGNUP FORMS ON ALL THE CAMPS LISTED BELOW CAN BE FOUND ON THE CHS ATHLETIC WEBSITE ELEMENTARY BOYS BASKETBALL CAMPS MS BOYS BASKETBALL CAMPS FRESHMAN BASKETBALL CAMPS JV BASKETBALL CAMPS VARSITY BASKETBALL CAMP MS Summer Program Information and Season Sign up forms are now available on the CHS ATHLETIC LINK FFA SCHOLARSHIP GOLF OUTING The 8th Annual Caledonia Kilt Klassic 5k Race will take place in the Village of Caledonia on Saturday, June 29, 2013. The race will start at 8:00 a.m. with a Kids Fun Run following at 9:15 a.m at the Caledonia Track. Other Caledonia Race Day Events will include a parade on Main Street at 11:00 a.m., games, food and other activities in the Village of Caledonia. Registration for this year’s race can be found online at kiltklassic.com. Race T-shirts are guaranteed to those who register online or via mail by June 15, 2013. The cost to register is as follows: • $20 for the 5K Run or 5K Walk through 6/15/13. After 6/15/13 the cost is $25. • The Fun Run Registration will cost $10 and T-shirts are only guaranteed to preregistered participants through 6/15/13. • A Family discount available for families of two or more (same last name and will need to register individually). Cost through 6/15/13 is $17 per person andafter 6/15/13 is $22 per person. There are three ways to register as follows: • Online registration at kiltklassic.com . Online registration closes on June 22, 2013. • Register by mailing in a registration form with entry fee, postmarked by June 15, 2013. Address as follows: PO Box 603, Caledonia, MI 49316 • Register in person at Duncan Lake Middle School (East Entrance) on Friday night, June 28, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. or before the race on Saturday morning, June 29, 2013 6:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. (Stadium Parking Lot/Race start) T-shirts are not guaranteed if you register after 6/15/13 or in person on 6/28/13 or 6/29/13. Race packet pickup will be at Duncan Lake Middle School, 9757 Duncan Lake, Caledonia, MI 49316. Dates and time as follows: • • Friday, June 29, 2013 at Duncan Lake Middle School (East Entrance) 4-7 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 (Football Stadium Parking Lot/ Race Start) 6:30 a.m. –7:45 a.m.) Parking will be available at Duncan Lake Middle School, Caledonia Elementary School, Holy Family Catholic Church and Kraft Meadows Middle School. The Kilt Klassic is organized by volunteers and sponsored by many local businesses as follows: Gold Level Sponsors: Davenport University; Farmers Insurance Group/ Foremost and Meijer; Silver Level Sponsors: Caledonia Family Medicine; Campau Corner; Eric D Hannapel, DDS MS PC; Gazelle Sports; Journey Church, Thornapple River Financial and Uccello’s. Find more information at our website www.caledoniawesternweek.com “DUTTON DAYS” COMMUNITY EVENT Saturday, JUNE 22nd www.duttondays.com Summer Junior Golf Programs Saskatoon Golf Club is offering exciting junior programs for players aged 5-18 years old. The summer programs include group lessons by age and skill level, and a weekly Junior League. Golf Lessons Individual private lessons or group classes are taught by PGA Professional Jerry Palinski. The classes are grouped by age and experience. Special student rates and packages are available for private lessons. Weekly Junior League A 10-week Junior League, where junior players pair up to play 9 holes with other juniors of similar age and skill, will be offered on Monday mornings at 9 a.m. beginning on June 10.
