To familiarize Residents in all surgical specialties with the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and its programs and leadership To provide an avenue for participation in ACS affairs To enable Residents to develop and use leadership skills in organized surgery To provide opportunities for the opinions and concerns of Residents to be heard by the ACS leadership Getting Residents Involved! Why (Fellow Perspective)? To meet Residents/recruit future partners To enlist assistance with Chapter activities To mentor the younger generation of surgeons To hear the opinions and concerns of Residents on new/evolving topics (e.g., social media…) Getting Residents Involved!
