Calvary/Belington had their VBS with averaging
35 children with the title: Marketplace; experiencing
life in Biblical times. Lots of crafts and artisans from
basket weaving, musical instruments, to shooting
bow and arrow and purchasing items at the market.
Fifteen children acknowledged they asked Christ to
be the Savior of their life. God was and is good to
us. Pastor is Rick Price.
Charity—God is doing amazing things at Charity.
Three persons saved in the last four weeks, two others saved in the past seven months and one other
has been baptized. All six were baptized on July 19
following our Youth Sunday quarterly service. Youth
Pastor, Rod Hunter spoke in the AM service and Assistant Pastor, Charles Hart spoke in the evening
service. VBS was held July 5 to 10 with approximately 38 students registered and we welcomed one salvation. Construction has begun on a much needed
nursery. Pastor is Dan Adkins.
Church of the Good Shepherd has two items to
report. #1 He’s coming soon and #2 where are all
our church members that are not coming to worship
with other believers? Pastor is Sonny Palmer.
New Creek—The church is having a great summer.
In the middle of June we travel to the SBC in Columbus to join the South Columbus Baptist Church for a
day long block party and outreach. Over 20 souls
were saved and hundreds of people enjoyed gathering together for the party. Towards the end of the
month of June, we had a great VBS with about 2025 in attendance. Two children were saved and
many more strengthened at this event. Thank you
for your prayers and support. Pastor is Tom
Roatch.
New Life Weston– had a great VBS with an av-
erage attendance of 37 kids and 20 adults. The
parents were invited to the VBS closing on Sunday morning and one mom was saved during
invitation, praise God. We are excited about
homecoming, August 16th beginning at 9:45
am with guest speaker Don Walls and songs by
Gideons Call. All are invited. Pastor is Dave
Riddle.

The Supreme Court has played God and said that it is
all right for members of the same sex to be married, a
contradiction I believe to what God ordained. We need to
stand and fight. But in the meantime, we need to make
sure that our Constitutions and Bylaws cover our belief
that marriage should be between one man and one woman. Your Constitution and Bylaws should state that marriage should be between a biological born man and a biological born woman. I have in my possession a couple of
Constitutions that were rewritten to cover the same
thing. I also have copies (with permission) of what the
wording in your Constitution should be to protect yourself in the event someone tries to force our churches to
perform and/or host same-sex marriage.
If you would like to have any of this information,
please let me know and I will see that you get it. Each
church in our association should examine their Statement
of Faith, Religious Employment criteria, Facility Use Policy, have a formal Membership Policy and a Marriage policy. We are facing a time when secularism will try to crush
faith-based institutions and the Christian faith itself. It is
my prayer that each church takes the opportunity to protect itself to update the Constitution and Bylaws
One day your life will flash before your eyes; make
sure it’s worth watching. May God bless!
Blessings,
David

Continued Praises from the Churches
Real Life—wants to thank all that made Camp Monongahela a
success. We had 9 youth to attend and camp closed with the Jason Lovins Band concert. On July 5 we “Abandoned the Building”.
This is the second time we have abandoned the building. This
reflects our teaching of “being the church” and not going to a
building. This year we met at Polk Creek Park. Seventy-four attendees brought chairs and sat in the shade as Terry Harper delivered God’s word. Our service concluded with a picnic lunch and
fellowship. This month we were blessed with a baptism. Camp
Rejoyce in Gilmer County has just concluded and we had 15
youth in camp. Theme was “Hope is the Anchor on our Soul”
Heb. 6:19. Jonathan Kirk has answered the call to be the teaching pastor at RLC. He is married to Lora and they have a one
month old daughter, Anastasia. He will be ordained at his home
church, Bibles Chapel Baptist Church, Midway TN on August 9.
Jonathan will begin on August 16. Stephen Lamb is the Elder.
Urbancrest had six kids give their lives to Christ and a total of
16 kids show up for VBS. We also raised $85 for a mission group
call Baptist Global Response. Pastor is Kirby Hamblin.
Wayside had a very successful Bible School. The NGU team
helped with activities, teaching and crafts. We continue to be
blessed with visitors every Sunday.

Thanks to all the churches for your
gifts to the Association. The Association
is now giving a tithe to the
Cooperative Program.
Please come and bring a dish of food (salad, vegetable, dessert) to share.
We will have games, fellowship and great food.
MBA CAMP 2015
It was a huge success because
God was in it.
Our Association Churches and the
members of those congregations worked
hard to make this happen.
Our college students
from NGU were also a huge help,
but without YOU, we could not
have done it.
Thank you so much for all
of your time, food,
money, campers, talents and gifts.
Everyone working together can do a
lot more than one working alone.
We always want to be as much help as we can at the
Association Office. We now have Children’s Sunday
School material that other churches have given to us.
As all of us know, Sunday School material is very expensive. If you do not have what you need, call the
office and we will try to get you some. We may have
just what you are looking for. The lesson dates don’t
always matter, let’s just share what we have so that
others may have materials to use.
Call if you are in need of any materials.
We just always want to Praise God!!!
We want to welcome three new pastors !

Would you like to use puppets in
your children's ministry? We have
been blessed with a donation of puppets to be loaned out to any church
that would like to use them at any
time. Just call the office at 304-4393002 or 304-613-9037.
Do you need music for your choir?? We have been
donated lots of choir music along with Christmas
choir cantatas and other cantatas. You may want to
stop by the office and just check some of this out. If
you can use it, you can have it.
