Next Meeting - Mar. 7th @ 7:00pm at the Post Home.
New Year’s Eve Party - Dec. 31st will be our annual
New Year’s Party. Starting at 9pm, Red Hotts will
provide the music. Reserve your tables today before
we fill up.
Family Night for January will benefit the McPherson
Arts Council Choir. For just $5, you get a full meal
of Hamburger, Freedom Fries, Drink, and Dessert
and help the Arts Council achieve their fund raising
goals. Serving starts at 5:00pm thru 6:30pm. To-Go
boxes are available if you have other activities to attend.
Work day @ the Legion - We have made the first
Saturday of every month a work day. We start at
8am. However this month we’ll be working on the
2nd Saturday (9th) to avoid the New Year Holiday.
Only work for about 1 hour or so depending on the
projects. Please come up and help if you can.
Walk of Honor - Pavers bricks are still for sale.
Pick up an order form in the Lounge or in the info
box attached to the building beside the Walk of
Honor. Any Veteran’s name can be put on a Paver. I
have been asked if only Members of Post 24 are eligible which is not the case. Any Veteran that has
served our country can have a Paver Brick in their
honor.
North Side Building Mural Project - The Mural
itself is complete and the mounting materials are
ready to go. We are experiencing some difficulties
with scheduling the crews necessary to install the
Mural. Rest assured we are working diligently to get
this project completed as soon as possible.
Next Post Meeting - January 18th at 7:00pm.

The distribution of toys from Toys for Kids was a wonderful time for all that helped in the toy selection and
gift wrapping process. I want to thank everyone that
helped.
Our next meeting isn’t until March so please watch
your emails for anything that may require our attention
between now and then.
Sons of American Legion

and well worth attending for those wishing to learn
more about the SAL.

dues and for those who have not, please remit your
dues as soon as possible.
