His 3 year old sister, Emma Grace, has been in our care since she was a baby. Jonathan is employed at the U of A Rice Research Extension Center and Miranda is employed by the Arkansas Legislative Audit. We're so happy to care for Jase, he's such a joy! General Conference 2016 Arkansas Conference 24-hour Prayer Vigil for General Conference The Council of Bishops has called for a time of prayer in the days leading up to General Conference, the quadrennial gathering which will take place May 10-20 in Portland, Oregon. Each of the 131 annual conferences has been invited to host a 24-hour prayer vigil leading up to May 10th. THE ARKANSAS CONFERENCE’S DAY IS APRIL 5. "I am asking you to join me to fill April 5 with your sincere prayers for the delegates, bishops and church leaders as they prepare to serve during General Conference," Bishop Gary Mueller said. "I know the United Methodists of Arkansas as a people of prayer, and am confident that your words of encouragement and support will have a positive effect on your elected leaders." Arkansas United Methodists can sign up for a time they will commit to pray on April 5. Sunday school classes, UMW circles, UMM groups, youth groups, Bible studies, Emmaus groups, prayer teams and entire congregations are asked to join in praying for our delegation to General Conference and for the work of holy conferencing that will take place in May.
