PARISH LENTEN INTENTION GRACIOUS GOD, SOURCE OUR BAPTISM YOU CALL US BY OF ALL LIFE, BY NAME AND INVITE US TO FULLNESS OF LIFE IN YOU. BLESS EACH OF US AS WE RESPOND TO YOUR CALL TO FOLLOW THE SON. MAY WE ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER IN DISCERNING AND LIVING OUT OUR 2014 DIOCESAN ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL The 2014 Annual Catholic Appeal has begun. It is not important how much you give, but - that you give. This helps to widen our collaborative base as to the number of parishioners who participate and act responsibly on behalf of the parish in this contribution. The more people participate, the more it becomes a demonstration of the viability of Miraculous Medal as being alive and filled with a sense of participation and not isolation.. Our parish goal this year is $50,000. As you know every time we exceed this goal, the difference comes back into the parish. In this way, you also make a contribution to our parish. Last year, we were able to realize a return of $18,000. to the parish. This has helped much since our Sunday collections are not meeting the cost of the parish bills. Since every little bit helps, I ask you to consider the appeal. Envelopes are available in the bookracks today. Please fill out a pledge envelope and return it with your gift or pledge. May God continue to bless each of your efforts to help make this parish great! ***** The following names were omitted from the listing of our young parishioners who received Academic Honors at Christ the King High School: KELSEY CONSTANTINE JOSEPH FLEISCHHACKER Congratulations and keep up the good work.
